Summer Reading Program
Four weeks of learning, reading, crafts, and fun! Children ages 3-9 participate in a reading challenge to earn a prize during the grand finale which includes a performance, food, and beverages. Fall in love all over again at the Wenonah Library! Patrons are invited to bring a wrapped, gently used book that you enjoyed reading to swap with a fellow reader to Wenonah Library. Wenonah Library kicks off Read Across America Week with a celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday. Kids Pre-K through 6th grade are invited to the library starting at 10am and ending at 12pm for Dr. Seuss stories, games, and crafts. There will also be a take-home snack provided. Harry Potter's Birthday Party
Students learn from the greatest professors of the wizarding world in Potions, Harry Potter Trivia, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures, and Wand Making classes! And, of course, the day ends with a feast in the Great Hall! This event is for ages 10-13. $5 to attend. Preregistration is required. Limited to 25 witches and wizards. Come enjoy the cozy, festive atmosphere of Wenonah Public Library during the Holiday Open House after the tree lighting ceremony in the park. Patrons are invited to come enjoy the downstairs children's section, play with Thomas' train table, and borrow library books and movies. All kids who visit the Wenonah Library on Take Your Child to the Library Day will receive a library backpack filled with useful information and fun items. No RSVP is required for this event. The Library's Used Book Sale takes place during the Borough Yard Sale in Wenonah each spring. Patrons can donate their gently used books to Wenonah Library to support the sale and help fund events and programming for the community throughout the year.
